After a recent Practice Management software switch, the ODT Solicitor team are now enjoying RedView Acuity’s ability to generate in-depth, insightful, easy to read reports fast - something lacking in the new back office platform.

‘For a few months there before RedView, it was really impacting our bottom line,’ Kirsty said.

Challenges

‘When we moved to the new PMS around a year ago we found it didn’t provide the functionality we needed around KPIs,’ Kirsty said. ‘After searching around, we discovered RedView Acuity, and now the entire firm uses it all the time. There are around 50 of us across the four offices - and we’re finding that people really want to understand how they’re performing against KPIs which is a great thing.’ Kirsty believes RedView Acuity is central to that understanding.

How RedView Helped

‘I get valuable information out of RedView. For example this year the most useful thing that happened when we were doing our PI proposal was being able to extract information around our residential property area. We have to assess the highest value, the lowest value and the median. And in seconds with RedView, I can generate the right report at the press of a button and it just pops up,’ Kirsty said. ‘In the previous system, that would take stitching four different reports together.’

RESULTS, ROI AND FUTURE PLANS

‘It’s definitely helped with forecasting. In the past I’m sure I annoyed everyone by asking what billing they anticipated over the coming month. But now I say “Well, if you put the data in, RedView will tell me the forecast and I don’t have to bug you!’ Kirsty said. ‘And that’s really nice because you can start tracking a job from opening to bill raising.’
