RedView CRM - The Location Field

RedView CRM provides a Location field to capture data against an enquiry. This field is a user defined lookup list and can be used to categorise the enquiry by, most usually, the physical location.

As this is a user defined list it can be defined as required. This could be for an office, if the firm has multiple offices, for a state or a county, or a geographical region, depending upon what sort of analysis is required. With lateral thinking it could also be used for other data categorisation.

Importantly, the system has an option to make this field mandatory, if you want to ensure its capture.

Once captured, the enquiry filter allows selection by location:

The following charts then provide analytics by Location.

Sales Pipeline by Location. This uses the Estimated Fees recorded against the enquiry. Note that default estimated fees can be set up by Area of Law so that the information is easily captured.

Matter Billings by Location. This collates the billings for the matter associated to the enquiry, based upon the Location recorded against the enquiry. Various billing periods can be selected.

Lastly, the entire dashboard can be filtered by individual locations so that all analytics, e.g. enquiry counts, conversion rates, source, can be seen for the selected location.
